Several provinces in Pakistan have established dedicated helplines and legal advisory services to support women and victims of gender-based violence. In Sindh, Helpline 0800-70806 and the Sindh Legal Advisory Call Centre provide legal advice and support. In January 2021, the Balochistan government launched the 'Balochistan Women Helpline: 1089' for complaints related to harassment at home and in the workplace, domestic violence, and property issues. In Punjab, Helpline 1043 and the Protection Authority continue to facilitate women’s access to justice. These provincial initiatives aim to improve reporting, provide timely legal guidance, and enhance access to remedies for women across Pakistan.
